Hotel Amfora is located at the north coast of Montenegro in the romantic little fishing village of Orahovac, between Kotor and Perast.
The Amfora Hotel in Kotor derives its name from the amphorae, unusual earthenware vessels used for keeping oil, wine and wheat in the 1st and 2nd centuries BC.
They were made by hand in Montengro, Italy and Greece and later in Dalmatia, and were and still remained a type of safe for valuables. Fishermen and divers still find them today as exciting evidence of life in ancient times.
The Hotel has 12 luxury apartments. All hotel rooms at Amfora have sea view overlooking the Bay of Kotor or breath taking panorama views to the mountains of Montenegro.
